Sarah Duffy, Head Hen, is thrilled to bits to have reached the finals of the EVAs 2013.

A very special email arrived in our digital letterbox this week, our very own Head Hen, Sarah Duffy, has been selected as an EVA finalist 2013.

Created to honour women across the North West who have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial growth, gutsy business start-ups and inspiring business acumen, the Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) are a unique celebration of ‘girl power’ and really showcase regional business successes in an extremely challenging climate.

Sarah comments: “Red Hen Creative was a dream, an aspiration which I’d strived to realise for quite some time so when I took the leap last year, I was excited and terrified in equal measures. Setting up in business at any time is always a gamble, and never more so than in the current economy however, despite all of this, I knew the ethos and unique business model and structure we have would set us apart.

“And I’ve not been disappointed. Along with my team, I’ve spent the past 12 months developing, nurturing and growing the business to the level it now boasts, and for all of that hard work to now be recognised by the EVAs is a truly humbling experience. We’re extremely excited for Red Hen Creative and what becoming a finalist means, not just for me but for the whole team.”
